Annual Fund

Each year Saint Joseph's asks our alumni, friends, faculty, staff and parents of the College to contribute to the Annual Fund.

A Gift to the Annual Fund:
• provides deserving students with crucial financial aid grants.
• offsets the ever-growing costs of operating the College and enhances the quality of life for students.
• serves as an inspiration to others to support this important undertaking.

Associate Memberships for GOLD Graduates (Graduates Of the Last Decade)

The College offers an associate membership in the various giving clubs/societies to GOLD graduates (Graduates Of the Last Decade). Gifts equal to or greater than half of the minimum gift level listed above will entitle these recent graduates to the same recognition as regular members of the club/society.

President's Society

Every year, a distinguished group of individuals demonstrates deep commitment to supporting Saint Joseph's College by generously giving financial and personal resources.
To recognize the continuous and generous support of these special individuals and families, membership in the President's Society is offered to alumni and friends who contribute $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund. These gifts allow the President to respond to the College's most urgent fiscal and program needs.

Members of the Society receive:

• Satisfaction in knowing your gift directly helps the President meet the pressing needs of students and faculty.
• Opportunities to interact with the President as his guest at special events on campus.
• Invitations to regional events that facilitate closer relationships with and access to the President and college administrators and officials.

Members of the President's Society comprise less than four percent of all donors to the College, yet their gifts account for approximately 37 percent of the Annual Fund total. The impact of these contributions on the College is colossal. With that in mind, we invite you to join the President's Society today.

Melissa Packard ‘90

For 15 years, Melissa Packard has been a constant.

Every year, she has made a gift to the Annual Fund, starting in 1991 when the newly graduated alumna wrote her first check for $25. Last summer she was a generous supporter of the alumni component of the Alfond Challenge.

And Packard wouldn’t have it any other way. “My college experience was outstanding, and I want to make sure that other students have that same experience. Saint Joseph’s was a great fit for me, and I appreciate what I received there so much. I am glad to contribute to the College.”

These days Melissa is busy in Augusta as the Acting Director of the Division of Elections in the Secretary of State’s Office. She credits her “outstanding educational experience” at Saint Joseph’s for the strong research and writing background necessary for her position.
