New Employees to our Saint Joseph's College Community Month of November Graduate and Professional Studies Gwendolyn DeCicco joins the Graduate of Professional Studies Admissions department as an Admissions Counselor on November 30 th . Gwen is an alumna of Saint Joseph's College receiving her BA in English and Philosophy in 1995. She most recently was a Staffing Consultant with Accomplished Professionals in Portland, Maine. Institutional Advancement Kristen Jewett joins the Institutional Advancement Office as the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations on November 9, 2009. Kristen is a 2005 SJC alumnus receiving her BA in Communications. Her most recent experience was a National Accounts Sales Coordinator for HC Brill Company, Inc. Month of October Housekeeping Elizabeth Larochelle joined the Housekeeping Staff on October 13, 2009. Elizabeth also owns and manages her own cleaning service, ATD Cleaning Services. Todd Beaumier joins the Housekeeping staff as a Weekend Housekeeper on October 3, 2009. He currently is Representative Payee with the City of Portland Social Services Division. Health and Wellness Stacey Kelley joined the Health and Wellness Center as a Nurse Practitioner on October 6, 2009. She received her MS Nursing from Simmons College. She currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Mercy Hospitals Windham office. Month of September Library Lia Horton joined the Library staff as a Library Public Services Associate on September 28, 2009. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago and is expected to complete her MLIS Library and Information Science degree in 2010. She is currently working as a Library Technical Assistant at the Walker Memorial Library in Westbrook. Health & Wellness Center Francine Wilbur joined the Health and Wellness Center as a Nurse Practitioner on September 23, 2009. She received her MS Nursing and Family Practitioner Post Graduate Degree from Simmons College. She currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Mercy Primary Care in Westbrook. Nancy Wright joined the Health and Wellness Center as a Nurse Practitioner on September 14, 2009. She received her MS Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Simmons College. She currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a clinic in South Portland and she is also a Clinical Nursing Instructor at CMMC College of Nursing and Health Professionals in Lewiston. Kathleen Brown - joined the Health & Wellness Center as a Nurse Practitioner on September 8, 2009. She received her Master's degree from the University of Southern Maine and is also a Nurse Practitioner with a Portland doctor's office. Athletics Shaun Breton - joined the Athletics Department as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach on September 2, 2009. His coaching experience has been coaching summer soccer camps with the Dexter High School and the Dexter Recreation Department. He has also been an Assistant Program Facilitator with Odyssey Soccer in Portland. Michele Plant - Higgins joined the Athletics Department as an Assistant Basketball Coach on September 2, 2009. Her coaching experience has been the JV Girl's Basketball Coach at Gorham High School, Head JV and Assistant Girl's Varsity Basketball Coach at Norfolk Academy. While at the University of New England she played on the Varsity Women's Basketball team for four years. Alfond Center Whitney Sullivan joined the Alfond Center staff as an Exercise Instructor on September 22, 2009. She will be instructing Kickboxing classes offered at the Alfond Center this Fall. She is also an Aerobics Instructor at Family Fitness here in Windham. Susan Sinnett - joins the Alfond Center as an Exercise Instructor on September 21, 2009. She will be instructing Zumba classes offered in the center this Fall. She has also taught classes at The Gold Room in Portland. John McElrath - joins the staff at the Alfond Center as the Alfond Center Training Specialist on September 1, 2009. He holds several training certifications with the American Red Cross and was most recently their Disaster Supervisor. Admissions Vickie McGovern - joins the Admissions Office as an Administrative Assistant on September 1, 2009. She most recently was a Salon Coordinator at Ahead Above Salon and Spa in Standish.
