Requests for Purchase of Library Materials
Every year, departments are allotted a portion of the library's
materials budget to select for purchase books and DVDs in support of
the College curricula. (While we are able to support faculty research
via unlimited free ILL and the ongoing expansion of our database collection,
we do not have the resources to purchase materials to support individual
faculty research.)
In selecting materials, faculty are encouraged to use

Requests for purchase must be made on the library's acquisitions
form, one form per item. Faculty need to submit requests to
their department chairs for approval before sending them on to the library.

Course Reserves
Wellehan
Library staff manage a physical reserve shelf and an electronic reserves
(e-reserves) system in Angel, both of which provide faculty with the
ability to make available to their students required course readings
for educational and non-commercial use only.

Copyright License
Saint Joseph's College now holds an Annual Copyright License from the
Copyright Clearance Center that allows for the reproduction and distribution
of copyrighted content with the confidence that sharing is being done
