Obtaining a Mailbox Key
Campus Services assigns each student a mailbox unit number. Mailbox unit
numbers are retained by students for the duration of continuous enrollment at
the College. It is extremely important that all incoming mail has your mailbox
unit number on it, along with your complete name. It will help prevent
delays as mail is sorted by unit number and name. Mail should be addressed as
follows:
Name
Unit Number (#xxx)
Saint Joseph’s College
278 Whites Bridge Rd
Standish, ME 04084-5236
All incoming freshman and transfer students are issued a mailbox key
during the first week of the fall semester. For security reasons, Campus
Services will not open your mailbox for you; you must have your key.
Misplaced/lost keys can be replaced for a charge of $10.00. Graduates
and students who withdraw from college will be charged a $25.00 fee
if they do not turn in their mailbox key to Campus Services and fill
out a form. Report any problems with your lock or key to the mailroom
staff.
Delivery of Personal Packages
Packages shipped to students are received at the mailroom for distribution.
An e-mail with be sent to students notifying them a package has arrived
at the mailroom and needs to be picked up. As a security precaution,
a photo I.D. is required to pick up your package(s). Due to limited storage
space, we ask that packages be picked up at your earliest convenience.
Packages may be picked up in the mailroom between 8:00 a.m. and 4:15
p.m. The Mailroom can also send letters and packages out via the U.S.
