In his role as the Assistant Dean of the College and Director of The Academic Center, Vincent is responsible for coordinating, developing, and implementing a variety of academic support services that enhance the academic success of students at Saint Joseph's. He works closely with faculty in assisting with student academic engagement design and planning programs in the classroom. Vincent also oversees The Academic Center along with the administrative staff to ensure that all students are engaged with the proper academic support resources for successful completion of their academic programs.
Vincent is an active member and holds leadership positions on the Region 1 New England and National Board Councils of NACADA (National Academic Advising Association) and MELMAC Education Foundation. He is a recipient of the NACADA 2011 Academic and Advising Excellence Award regcognizing demonstrating excellence in academic advising.

As the Academic Support Coordinator, Shanna is responsible for assisting students who stop by The Academic Center. She does so by scheduling tutoring sessions, monitoring exams, and directing students to the appropriate academic resources needed for their success. Also, Shanna is the Study Abroad Coordinator for Saint Joseph's College of Maine. As the Coordinator, she is responsible for assisting students in their search for the appropriate site, assist with the application process, and ensure their time abroad will be successful.
In addition, Shanna serves as the Coordinator for the First-Year Experience (FYE) Seminar course. The seminar, which is taught by faculty members, runs during the fall semester and addresses the challenges first-year students face.

Advising and ADA Accommodations Coordinator

Holly's main focus as the Advising Coordinator in The Academic Center is working with Liberal Studies students to assist them in declaring a major by their junior year. She would like everyone to know her door is always open and encourages any student, with either a declared or undecided major, to stop in and take advantage of the resources available to them.
In addition, Holly serves as the ADA Accommodations Coordinator. In this role, Holly is responsible for awarding and maintaining student accommodations at Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
