Scott Balcomb

Scott Balcombl, Assistant Professor of Biology
Professor Balcomb taught for 10 years at Philips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire prior to joining the Saint Joseph's faculty. His courses include Precalculus, Calculus I, Contemporary Math and Elementary Statistics.

Professor Balcomb and his wife own a small farm. Every year, he hires two or three Saint Joseph's students to work on the farm, which has one milk cow and 35 beef animals. His nonmathematical academic interest is music, particularly classical, and he enjoys playing the piano.
