Sr. Patricia Flynn, RSM

Pat Flynn, Assistant Professor of Philosophy
Sr. Patricia Flynn's academic interest is ethics, both theoretical and applied. Institutional ethics--the moral issues involved in the running of any type of organization, whether political, business or otherwise--is the focus of her research. Her article, titled "Ethics in the Boardroom: Contracts or Fiduciary Relationships," appeared in the journal Philosophy in the Contemporary World, and her dissertation, "The Moral Responsibilities of Boards of Trustees and Directors," also explored this topic.

Sister Flynn's classes include Philosophy and Ethics, Bioethics, The Moral Self, Modern Philosophy, Contemporary Philosophy and Seminar II. Despite her interest in ethics, in her free time she enjoys reading murder mysteries, especially those by British authors.
