Diane Greslick

Diane Greslick, Assistant Professor of Nursing
Professor Greslick is active in state and national nursing committees, serving as the co-coordinator of the Continuing Education Review Process (CERP) Committee of Maine State Nurses Association, and as Chair of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Generalist Certification Exam Committee. She is also the co-coordinator of the ANCC’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Generalist Content Expert Panel.

Professor Greslick earned the Distinguished Service Award from the Maine State Board of Nursing for work on the CERP Committee and co-wrote a chapter in Patricia Dillon’s Nursing Health Assessment: A Critical Thinking, Case Studies Approach (2003) entitled “Abnormal Assessment." In January 2003, she presented “Making Service Learning a Reality” at the Hawaii International Conference on Education.

She believes in the benefits of service learning and stresses the importance of service by involving students in problem-based service learning projects in Mental Health Nursing and Community Health Nursing courses.
