Jeanne Gulnick, Assistant Professor of Chemistry
Professor Gulnick studies the biogeochemical controls in bacterial activity and production in aquatic environments and, specifically, the relationship between bacterial production and phytoplankton primary production in Sebago Lake and Casco Bay. She recently co-authored a paper on patterns of carbon mineralization and bio-irrigation in the sediments of Casco Bay.
