Reginald Hannaford
Professor Hannaford teaches the 300 level comparative Greek and Latin Seminars in history, drama and epic poetry (offered in a 3-year sequence), as well as a variety of introductory and intermediate Latin and Greek courses. His current research interests are focused on Greek and Latin science and the study of Greek and Hebrew Bible. In conjunction with his interest in Biblical studies, he directs independent study projects on both the Talmud and early Church Fathers. Professor Hannaford's principal research interests are Greek drama and history, and his secondary interests are Latin lyrical poetry and linguistic theory. In addition to teaching Latin and Greek, he teaches Hebrew language and literature usually as independent study projects. Professional organizations include:
