Susan Henderson

Professor Henderson maintains her professional practice by working as a per diem staff nurse at Maine Medical Center. She works on health policy issues through the American Nursing Association (ANA) of Maine, where she is on the Board of Directors.

Harcourt Publishers accepted Professor Henderson's Case Studies in Pharmacy, which is available online. She contributes regularly to INFORMA CE: Continuing Education for Healthcare Professional of Older Adults, an online continuing education offering for health care providers.

With Professor Marchigiano and Professor DeCesere, she presented "Theory to Practice: Securing Strong Roots" at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Baccalaureate Education Conference.

Her clinical interests include orthopedic, neurological, trauma and gerontological nursing, including palliative care.
