Peter Connolly

Peter Connolly joined the Education Department faculty in the spring of 2006 after retiring from the Windham, Maine, School Department with more than 40 years of service. During his tenure in Windham, he taught middle school English, and served as department chairman, middle school assistant principal, and principal of grades 4-8. For the last 20 or so years of service, he taught English in grades 9-12. During these years, he also served as coach of varsity golf and varsity girls' indoor and outdoor track.

Connolly teaches Educational Foundations and Teaching Methods in the Secondary School; he also supervises student teachers and interns.

His professional organizations include:

  • Maine Education Association

He relaxes by reading and by painting in watercolor and oil. He is an avid golfer and also runs to keep in shape.
