Bachelor of Science in Biology Program in Pre-Physician Assistant

Requirements

Students may be accepted into the Post-Baccalaureate Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program (MPAS) at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Manchester, N.H., for direct articulation following completion of the bachelor's degree, contigent upon a satisfactory pre-admission interview conducted at the Manchester campus, and provided they have an overall undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. Students must have completed the following prerequisite coursework with a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and no less than a grade of C in each and no repeats:

  •  General Chemistry
  •  Organic Chemistry
  •  Biochemistry
  •  Microbiology
  •  Anatomy & Physiology
  •  Statistics
  •  Introduction to Psychology
  •  Immunology and Genetics are recommended prerequisites but are not required.

The Manchester post-baccalaureate MPAS program admits up to six (6) students in January of each year.
