Office of Academic Records

Advising and Mentoring

Saint Joseph's prides itself on the quality of its student advising. The Office of Academic Records works with the chair of each department to ensure that each student is assigned a faculty advisor who will properly advise the student in course selections. Information concerning advisor assignments is available at the Office of Academic Records.

A faculty mentoring program matches a faculty mentor to each first-semester freshman. Faculty meet with students regularly during the first semester, helping them to assess their strengths and weaknesses. They also work with each student to set goals for academic success and to connect students with The Academic Center.
