Joshua Schoenfeld
Dr. Schoenfeld is a clinical psychologist with broad interests in research and practice and a love of teaching. He draws on his personal experiences in academic and clinical settings to bring psychology to life in the classroom. "My main goal as a teacher is to stimulate my students' intellectual growth by sharing with them my enthusiasm for learning and by showing them how the field of psychology impacts virtually every aspect of our lives." Dr. Schoenfeld's primary research interest is the study of associations between personal relationships and health. Recently, Dr. Schoenfeld presented "Spouse Confidence Predicts Patient Attendance at Cardiac Rehabilitation" at the 2007 meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association, and "Spouse Participation in Research Predicts Patient Attendance at Cardiac Rehabilitation" at the 2008 meeting of the Association for Psychological Science. Dr. Schoenfeld is also interested in the ongoing challenge of developing a scientific framework for clinical psychology and the role of psychology in the sociopolitical arena. Stories:
