Andrea Vianello

Andrea Vianello, Assistant Professor of History
Professor Vianello's teaching and research interests include the following: social and economic history, history of marginality, history of poverty and assistance, 17th- and 18th-century European history, Italian history (language and literature), fashion history, ancient Roman history, international relations and comparative politics.

Professor Vianello's article "La storia sociale della calzatura" ("The Social History of Footwear") was published in the brand-new volume La Moda (The History of Fashion) in the Storia d'Italia: Annali (Annals of the History of Italy), Turin: Einaudi Editore, 2003.
