To learn more about requirements for admission, including important dates
and deadlines for early, regular and transfer applicants, please visit

Admission Requirements
Applicants will be considered for admission when the following items are
received:
1. Completed application form
2. Personal statement/essay
3. Official high school transcript
4. Official transcripts of any college coursework
5. One recommendation from a guidance or college counselor
6. Two recommendations from teachers (past employers if applicable) (A
total of 3 letters of recommendations are required.)
7. SAT or ACT scores for high school and transfer students
who have graduated from high school within the past five years and have
fewer than 15 college credit hours
Application Fees
The paper application fee is $50 (nonrefundable), payable to Saint Joseph’s
College of Maine, for students seeking admission for the 2008-2009 academic
year. Application fees are waived for online submission. To apply online,

Important Dates and Deadlines for Admission
Early Action November 15, 2007
Nursing Program January 15, 2008 (may choose to apply before this deadline,
using the Early Action option)
Regular Admission March 1, 2008
Transfer Admission December 1 (January semester)
August 1 (September semester)
