Why did you choose Saint Joseph’s College?
Its distance from home and its small class sizes made it the perfect fit for me.

What do you do for fun here?
Hang out with friends, work out, and attend sports games.

What’s the most interesting course you’ve had so far and why?
The most interesting course I have taken is my Intro to Management course. Professor Zerillo keeps us all interested and involved in the class. Time flies in that class.

What do you love most about Saint Joseph’s College?
The most important thing about Saint Joe's is its small class sizes. Sharing a teacher’s attention is a difficult thing in an auditorium and it was something I avoided in college searching.

Describe your typical day on campus.
Attend classes, lunch, homework, supper, sports games, working out, late night comedy tv.

Name one thing that sets Saint Joseph’s apart from other institutions.
Saint Joseph's incredible setting is a relaxing place to live and allows you to focus on your work. The background scenery is also quite a sight to see.

How did you end up at Saint Joseph’s College from Cornwall, England??

I was a tour guide in London, while also coaching, and I ended up showing Coach Bancroft’s Odyssey U16 team round London. The rest is history...

What are some of the characteristics of Saint Joseph’s that you value?

Saint Joseph’s is a special place to me. To move 3,000 miles away from everything you have known can be very daunting. The transition was made easier by the faculty and students here at St. Joe’s, as they are always willing to help your experience a joyful one. This college campus truly feels like a close-knit community.

What is your most memorable moment as an athlete at SJC?

Scoring three goals in my first weekend in a Monks jersey after arriving almost three weeks late because of visa issues.

The dances and comedians are my personal favorite. In general, hanging out with friends is always fun.

What’s the most interesting course you’ve had and why?
Although I’m an English major, my two favorite, and consequently interesting, courses have been Management and Economics, both taught by Professor Zerillo. Zerillo’s teaching style just worked for me, and although both classes were very challenging, he made them interesting; I really looked forward to them.

What do you love the most about Saint Joseph’s College?
I love the faculty. I love that professors seem to genuinely care about their students, both in and out of the classroom, and they will go out of their way to make students feel welcome.

Why did you choose Saint Joseph's College?
I only applied at two schools. I have deep family ties at St. Joe’s, which helped me make my choice. My brother is a 2005 Saint Joseph's College graduate and was an Environmental Science Major. My grandmother went here when it was a girls’ school and Sister Mary George was her roommate.

What is your most memorable moment as an athlete at St. Joe’s?
My most memorable moment was when we played the ECAC tournament games here at St. Joe's last season. The Alfond Center was really rocking for those games as the crowd was very into the two tourney games we played at home. I still get chills when I see pictures of the those games, especially photos of the rowdy crowd cheering on the Monks.

What did you do over the summer to prepare for your season?
I lived on campus, played in a league at Howard sports with 6 others SJC players. It was a great experience to be around some of my teammates all summer. The league was pretty competitive, too.
