Home Schooled Student Admission Requirements Policy

Home school seniors and graduates seeking admission as freshman will be required to do the following:

• Submit official scores of either the SAT or ACT.
• Write a personal essay on a topic of your choice or on a recommended topic. 
• Supply a final transcript of your high school curriculum with grades and a short explanation of what each class is (outlined by a parent or primary educator - a sample transcript can be supplied if necessary.) 
• Sumbit 2 letters of recommendation (1 from the primary educator, and 1 from individuals outside of your family who are familiar with your academics, extracurricular activities or work experience.) 
• Complete an interview with an admission staff member. 
• Meet all State regulations put forth by their home state. 
• Provide a transcript from an accredited school (i.e. Royal Academy) OR provide us with a portfolio of your work, including; but not limited to: a graded writing sample in both English and History, book lists for all 4 yrs., a recent graded math assessment and graded science assessment.

Note: Those seeking admission into the Nursing or Biology field may be asked to supply additional samples.
