Annual Fund l Alumni/Reunion giving l Royal Blue Club l Planned giving l Matching gift programs l Memorial giving l Endowed gifts, designated gifts & naming opportunities Endowed gifts, Designated gifts and Naming opportunities Is there a cause that is close to your heart? Did you have a formative experience at Saint Joseph’s that you want to make available to future generations? Is there a department or program in which you want to make a public vote of confidence? If so, you can designate a gift to a cause that matters to you. Of course, some donors prefer to leave these decisions up to the College. Gifts to Saint Joseph’s unrestricted funds provide the College with the agility and flexibility needed to adjust to an ever-changing environment. For many donors, naming opportunities are the crowning philanthropic act in a lifetime of giving. Whether it be a building, a professorship or an endowed scholarship, you get the satisfaction of knowing that your gift will influence generations of Saint Joseph’s students and faculty. Your name, or the name of a loved one, goes forward into the future of Saint Joseph's College—one of the most enduring honors imaginable.
Harold Alfond, Friend Raising the standards: Harold Alfond Recreation Center and Harold Alfond Hall Mr. Alfond looked into the future and saw what we now see today: a vibrant campus in a magnificent setting with excellent buildings, expansive quads, and, most importantly, students who are fully engaged in living and learning. Harold Alfond Recreation Center and Harold Alfond Hall have raised the bar for all that we do at Saint Joseph’s. The College has worked extremely hard to provide the elements that are making Saint Joseph’s a distinctive Catholic College in New England—a top-notch faculty with scholarly pursuits that enrich teaching, a vibrant student life and campus ministry program, and campus facilities that support teaching, learning and living as never before. Saint Joseph’s College is proud to have the Alfond name associated with the greatest era of building and change on this campus since the College moved to Standish in 1956.
