Matching Gift Programs

What’s better than a generous gift to Saint Joseph’s? A gift that is twice as generous, thanks to a third party’s matching Gift Program!

Many companies offer employees a matching gift benefit that, in effect, could actually double your gift to the College. So when making a gift to the College, please consider earmarking Saint Joseph’s for a corporate match. Companies have various methods by which you can submit your matching gift request; online forms, automated phone systems or a paper form you can submit to Saint Joseph’s. Contact your company’s human resources officer or Web site to find out your options.

Bonnie (Barletta) VanderZouwen ‘90

Giving back—twice as nice.

Bonnie loved her time at Saint Joseph’s. When Bonnie wasn’t studying, playing softball, being a resident assistant or working part-time at Fidelity, she spent her time interning in the College Admissions Office for Fred Stone, then Director of Admissions.

Bonnie gives credit to Saint Joseph’s College for her burgeoning career in human resources. “The flexibility of my schedule at Saint Joe’s allowed me to take the marketing classes that I wanted while at the same time get great experience at Fidelity and the Admissions Office. I use the skills I developed in these internships everyday in my current position as Director of Human Resources.”

Bonnie feels privileged to be able to give back to the College. “I feel strongly that my time at St. Joe’s provided the foundation I needed to pursue and succeed in my career at Fidelity Investments, and I feel as if it is a privilege to give back. I am in a fortunate situation with Fidelity, as they provide a matching gift program and currently provide a double match for all qualified donations.”
