Like their children, families of SJC students and graduates want to make a difference.

Some families of SJC students choose to go above and beyond what is required in order to show their appreciation for the education their children received at Saint Joseph's College.

Michael and Kathleen Doucette, parents of Ted ‘05

Thankful that Ted could call Saint Joseph’s ‘home.’

The Doucettes understand the importance and value of a mission-based Catholic liberal arts education. “Saint Joseph’s College gave our son, Ted, a place to call ‘home’ for four years; an opportunity to grow in intellect and spirit; and friends to cherish for the rest of his life. Thank you SJC!”

The Doucette’s couldn’t begin to put a price on the educational, spiritual and social experiences and interactions Ted had at Saint Joseph's but felt it went beyond the cost of tuition. So for the past four years, in addition to paying tuition, they made a gift to the Annual Fund as a way of showing their immense gratitude and continued support of programming that goes beyond the cost of enrollment.

Mark and Julie Harmon, Parents of Heidi ’05 and Ian ‘08

Grateful and proud parents of two give to further opportunities in and outside of classroom.

“Our children have had wonderful experiences at Saint Joseph’s; whether it be in the classroom, participating in Orientation Programs or work with Student Government, they have both grown academically and spiritually. And we have found Saint Joe’s to be a friendly community, one that we are proud to send our children to.”

Mark and Julie, like their children, are involved at SJC and embrace the opportunity to go the extra mile to show their appreciation and support of the College.
