STANDISH, ME - Senior captain Marie
Lint (Orono, ME) has been named the Maine Women's Basketball
Coaches Association Player of the Week for the 12/10-12/16 reporting
period. Lint
was also named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for her strong play.
Lint scored 18 points, a team and season high, and grabbed 8 rebounds
in a 72-53 St. Joe's victory over Me-Presque Isle on 12/15. Lint was
7-10 from the floor and 4-4 from the free throw line in the team's final
game before the new year.
Saint Joseph's College (6-3) will kick off 2008 with a non-conference
game against Newbury College at home, Tuesday 1/8 at 5:00 PM.
