Wade came to Saint Joseph’s College as one of the top
athletes to come out of Rockland High School in recent memory.
Also a standout football and basketball player at Rockland,
Wade chose to pursue baseball at the college level. An honor
student at Rockland, Wade was a two time KVAC All-Conference
selection. Wade was also selected for the Frozen Ropes Underclassman
All-Star Game and the Maine Senior Baseball All-Star Classic.
In high school Wade played many different positions, plugging
any holes that needed to be filled for coach Richie Oliver.
As a freshman at SJC Wade began his college career in style.
He was named North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year as
well as NAC Tournament Most Valuable Player. In his first year
Wade hit .357 with 41 hits, 29 runs, and 21 RBI. Wade was also
9-11 in stolen bases. As a sophomore Wade battled through injuries
to have another fine year batting .364 with 25 RBIs, 34 runs
scored, and a perfect 13-13 stolen bases. Always a clutch performer,
Wade was named to the 2007 North Atlantic Conference All-Tournament
Team. Following the season Wade was also named to the NAC All-Conference
Team. Coach Sanborn looks for Wade to continue to improve his
production – most likely out of the leadoff spot for SJC.
Wade is the son of Richie Oliver and Tanja Patterson.

Chris comes to St. Joe's from Spaulding High School in Rochester
, NH where he played under Head Coach Jerry Lachance. The
hard-nosed infielder had an excellent senior season and was
rewarded by being named to the All-State Team and the Fosters
Dream Team. Chris hit .458 in his final high school season
and received the Golden Bat Award for posting the highest
batting average in the New Hampshire Class L division. Chris
is a very good hitter who can also put pressure on the defense
with speed and his ability to handle the bat. Look for this
scrappy ballplayer to help solidify the Monks infield and
provide an offensive spark.
Chris is the son of Deborah and Richard Campbell of East Rochester,

is a fine infielder who played his high school baseball for
Rocky Myers at Gorham High School . Brian was an All-State

Maine Board of Umpires Award for sportsmanship. During his
senior year Brian hit .395 and was his team's Most Valuable

A
versatile infielder who can play any position in the infield,
Brian has played shortstop and second base in his three years
at St. Joe's. His strong arm, soft hands, lateral quickness
and versatility make him one of the top infielders in New
England . As a senior Brian will move to third base and also
pitch in relief - possibly serving as the Monks closer.
Brian is also a key part of the St. Joe's lineup. As a freshman
Brian hit an impressive .314 with 30 runs scored out of the
nine hole. As a sophomore Brian moved to the top of the order
and hit .367 with 36 hits, 23 runs, 15 RBI and an on base
percentage of .531. As a junior Brian hit .243 but had a .357
on base percentage and stole 11 bases. Look for Brian to rebound
and have a fine senior year with the bat.
Because of Brian's leadership qualities he was selected as
a captain for the 2007 season and will again fill that role
in 2008 as a senior.
Brian is the son of Debbie and Galen Schools of Gorham, Maine.

Bailey where he was a Co-Captain as a senior. Billy led his
team to the Boston City Championship and was named a Boston
City League All-Star in 2005 and 2006.
As
a freshman for SJC in 2007 Billy did not see much action and
pitched mostly for the Monks junior varsity squad. A right
handed pitcher with a strong arm, Billy has developed a nasty
change up that could make him a key factor for the St. Joe's
pitching staff in 2008. If his success in fall baseball is
any indication, Billy is poised for a much bigger role in
2008.
Billy
is the son of Mary and John Creed of Roslindale, Massachusetts.

Dustin
transferred to Saint Joseph 's College after a year at Eckerd
College in Florida . This talented outfielder played his high
school baseball for Rocky Myers at Gorham High School . Capable
of hitting for both average and power, this left handed hitter
made an immediate impact on the Monks lineup in 2006. In his
first year with the Monks Dustin hit .344 with 52 hits (1
st ), 30 runs, and 23 RBI. He was also 8-8 in stolen bases.
As a junior in 2007 Dustin showed his amazing consistency,
once again hitting .344, this time with 45 hits, 29 runs scored
and 30 RBI. Dustin was second on the team with 14 stolen bases.
Dustin is also a fine outfielder with a good arm and solid
defensive skills. In 2007 Dustin was named to the NAC All-Conference
Second Team and was also selected as a member of the 2007
NCAA Division III New England Baseball Regional All-Tournament
Team. Coach Sanborn looks for Dustin to take an even bigger
role in 2008 as he has been named a team captain.
Coach
Sanborn on Dustin, "Dustin has been a key player in our success
over the last couple of years. He is a force in the middle
of the lineup who has a knack for coming up with the big hit.
Dustin is a real competitor - I look for him to pass along
his work ethic and competitive nature to our younger players."
Dustin is the son of Lisa and Kenny Spiller of Gorham, Maine.
