Brandon is a young right handed pitcher who has a great deal of
potential. If Brandon can get healthy – the sky is the limit
for this hard throwing right hander. Brandon has a live fastball
and a sharp breaking curve that can dominate hitters when he is
100%. As a freshman Brandon was dominant in a sub-varsity game
in Florida, but was plagued by arm issues as the spring went on.
Following surgery Brandon appears to be healthy with his arm feeling
better than ever. Coach Sanborn looks for Brandon to be a big
contributor for the Monks in the coming years.
Brandon is the son of Michelle and Scott Wyman of Harpswell, Maine.

Andrew
is a graduate of South Portland High School where he was a captain
of both the football and baseball teams. As a senior Andrew
was an All-Telegram League selection as a catcher, hitting .479
- 4 th in the league. He was also honored with the league's
E. Lester Blake Award.
As
a freshman at St. Joe's Andrew hit a very respectable .324 in
limited action. In 2006 Andrew had another fine year swinging
the bat as he hit .375 with 27 hits and 15 RBI. As a junior
Andrew continued his hot hitting, finishing with a .367 batting
average, 40 hits, 27 runs scored and 23 RBI. An outstanding
base runner, Andrew was also 10-12 in stolen bases. Following
the season "Woody" was selected as a member of the NAC All-Conference
First Team.
As a senior Andrew will continue to be a force in the lineup
- either at catcher, first base, or DH. Behind the plate Andrew
is a hard nosed receiver whose competitive nature seems to rub
off on the pitching staff. Andrew possesses a strong throwing
arm that should help hold opposing runners at bay.
Andrew is the son of Daniel and Deborah Wood of South Portland,

Mike came to Saint Joseph 's College from Gardiner , Maine where
he played for Jim Palmer. A versatile player, Mike was both
a standout on the mound and in the infield. During his senior
year Mike was the Gardiner baseball MVP, an All-Conference selection,
and an All-State Honorable Mention pick. Mike helped bring his
American Legion team to the state tournament in 06.
As
a freshman at Saint Joseph 's in '07 Mike played a dual role
- coming off the bench to play the infield Mike hit .370 and
did not make an error. As a pitcher Mike's 2-2 record and 4.50
era was not indicative of his performance as he pitched some
fine games against some tough opponents. In 2008 it looks like
Mike will concentrate on pitching as he could compete for a
spot in the starting rotation for Coach Sanborn.
