Committee (SAAC)

Members of St. Joe's SAAC recognized National Student-Athlete Day in April by visiting nearby Bonny Eagle Middle School in Standish and describing the student-athlete experience to interested middle-schoolers. The students were excited to view the Saint Joseph's Athletics highlight video showing great moments from the 2006-07 season.

SAAC AND CAMPUS MINISTRY CONDUCT
ANNUAL HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), in conjunction with Campus Ministry, conducted their annual holiday food drive, which concluded at the double-header basketball games on Wednesday, December 5th.

The drive was organized by sophomore Christy Wezowicz (softball),senior Jillian Leger (women's soccer), and junior Katie Seaman (field hockey).

The Committee collected over 750 non-perishable food items which Campus Ministry will distribute to local food banks.

All Saint Joseph's athletic programs participated in the food drive as each team attempted to donate the most non-perishable items. The St. Joe's Women's Soccer team won the friendly competition, bringing in 8.9 items per player! Great work ladies!!
