STANDISH, ME – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference
has announced its 2008 Softball All-Conference Awards and Saint Joseph's
College (24-13, 19-7 GNAC) has two players on listed on the teams.
Lady Monks junior centerfielder Alysn Ludwig
(Waldoboro, ME/Medomak Valley HS) has been named to the All-Conference
First Team after hitting .398 (53-133) with 44 runs and 23 stolen
bases through 37 games.
Sophomore second baseman Jillian Kimball
(Albany TWP, ME/Telstar HS) receives Second Team honors and is leading
the Lady Monks through 37 games with a .438 (49-112) batting average
and 43 RBI’s.
