A Centennial is a special time: to celebrate our past, celebrate our present, and look to the future as our institution grows. Since 1912, Saint Joseph's has blossomed from just a few faculty and students in a portion of Saint Joseph's Academy in Portland to a vibrant institution serving students of all ages. It is an education rooted in the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy. It is a wonderful journey that we have all traveled together. The campus community is invited to join us in celebration!

  • Attend one, or more, of the Centennial-themed events: the college has planned academic, social, and community commemorative events both on and off campus.

  • Attend a Monks sporting event. During the Centennial year of 2012, all student-athletes will wear a patch on their uniforms celebrating the college's 100 year history. There are many successful athletic programs at Saint Joseph's, and your support of each contest adds to the spirit and a winning team.
