“The Story Behind the Food”

What do tomatoes have to do with slavery? How does your cheeseburger contribute to climate change? What is aquaculture? Is it better for the oceans than wild caught fish? How does Saint Joseph’s College food vendor, Bon Appetit, drive market changes towards sustainability?

Join Nicole Tocco, East Coast Fellow for the Bon Appetit Management Company Foundation, for an interactive presentation on food and sustainability at Saint Joseph’s College on Tuesday, September 18, at 7 p.m. in the Viola George Auditorium in Alfond Hall. A sustainable dessert reception will follow. This event is free and open to the public.
