Career Management Associates - Software Engineer

Career Management Associates is seeking a Software Engineer.

2 year degree in a Computer Science and experience in a customer service role, SQL required, PHP preferred for this Jr. Software Engineer position.

This position is responsible for assisting the Sr. Software Engineer of an Old Port, Portland, based consulting firm. End user assistance (45 employees) will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Please have some computer repair and maintenance experience. Must have thorough knowledge of Windows OS. Primary responsibilities will be to build and run SQL queries and assist Sr. Engineer with coding in SQL and PHP. Strong Excel skills required to perform spreadsheet manipulation. Access skills also needed.

This is a mid-sized, Maine owned and operated company with a 20 year history of growth and financial success. Great training ground! This is a temp to hire position. Flexibility (during standard business hours) will be allowed for students who are finishing their degree. $12-13 per hour, 40 hours per week.
