CEI Capital Management LLC - Loan Servicing and Cash Management Associate New Markets Tax Credit Program

CEI Capital Management LLC (CCML), a for-profit subsidiary of Coastal Enterprises, Inc (CEI), is an investment management company facilitating and managing financings of real estate projects and operating businesses in low-income areas, using the economic power of federal tax credits available through the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program.

CCML is seeking a Loan Servicing and Cash Management Associate to support loan servicing, cash management, and accounting functions, while maintaining CCML’s loan portfolio with specific emphasis on customer contact, and file and data maintenance in support of the NMTC program.

Qualifications: Six year combination of related education, accounting experience, specialized training and relevant experience in finance, business management and banking systems, i.e. loan processing, servicing or administration. A high degree of proficiency in Excel and Word is required, and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite programs (Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) is a plus. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are necessary when dealing with financial institutions, working partners and co-workers. Must have excellent time management skills in order to adhere to a strict deadline driven environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities: Applicant must be analytical, proficient with numbers and mathematical concepts; meticulous regarding all details, and capable of troubleshooting in spreadsheet data or reports. Will perform periodic bank deposits, maintain balances and reconcile bank statements for multiple bank and investment accounts. Will work closely with other Accounting and Cash Management staff, and within the larger CCML team, including: Investment, Asset Management and Administration.
