Compass Rose Events offers a salaried sales internship/training program that exposes entry level sales staff to all aspects of our business. You will progress through different levels of the sales and delivery process, spending a few months developing your skills in each area.

Level 1 - Event Management
Learn to understand the basics of successful event design and enhance your customer service skills. Oversee the set up, operation and take down of large corporate parties. Event Managers handle all entertainment and logistical aspects of the event site and staff and are face to face with the customer on delivery day.

Level 2 - Inside Sales
Learn the basics of business to business prospecting by introducing our services and setting appointments for Project Managers. This position also involves database management, lead addition and appointment generation.

Level 3 – Project Manager Trainee
Continue to develop your sales skills by accompanying Project Managers on sales presentations, assist with cost planning and proposal generation, further develop client relationships, and facilitate communication.

FAQ’s

• Must live or be willing to relocate to one of our offices: Boothbay Harbor, Maine and Nashville, Tennessee
• Internship requires a minimum 1 year commitment
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old and be a licensed driver
• Weekend work and significant travel is required
• Compass Rose Events hires from within. Full Time opportunities may be available at the end of the internship program but are not guaranteed
