The Exception Magazine - Editorial Internship

The Exception Magazine, an online news publication based in Portland, ME, is seeking Editorial Interns.

Exception Interns shall, in consultation with the Editor-in Chief and other section editors, coordinate the day to day administration of the Exception Magazine. Depending on the interest of each intern, assignments may include helping edit new stories, finding new contributors and developing online partnerships. Interns will work closely with the Editors of their assigned section.

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent editing skills
• Ability to establish priorities, parameters and a strong track record of delivering on deadline
• Ability to work well in team environment
• We can make arrangements for college credit, if applicable
