Health care symposium to focus on managing major changes in health care

Saint Joseph's College will offer its fourth annual health care symposium, called "Health Care in the 21st Century: New Challenges, New Opportunities" on July 25-29 at its Sebago Lake campus in southern Maine.

Health care experts from across the country will discuss timely issues facing health care professionals at all levels, including administrators, managers, and clinicians. Topics and discussions include impact of health care reform on Medicare and Medicaid, improving operational efficiency, sustainability, measuring quality, effective leadership, health care's "second curve," and implementing innovations.

Sponsored by the Graduate & Professional Studies division at Saint Joseph's College, the symposium offers academic credit or six CEUs per day for non-student professionals. CEU attendees can choose the number of days they want to attend. Lunch is included and lodging and other meals are available.
