is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Major Gifts Fundraising
Are you a stickler for detail who can prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, professional, fundraising environment? The Maine Public Broadcasting Network is a dynamic nonprofit organization with a broad reach across Maine, into New Hampshire and Atlantic Canada. No two days are alike in this position supporting our Major Gifts department in Lewiston, and your excellent written and verbal communication skills will facilitate working closely and effectively with a variety of staff, members of the Board of Trustees, and friends of MPBN.
Top organizational skills and discretion in handling confidential information are an absolute must. You will perform difficult and complex secretarial and administrative duties including processing gifts and planned giving transactions. Top database, spreadsheet and reporting facility as well as writing and editing skills are essential. A minimum of three years of administrative support experience is required and previous work with nonprofits and / or capital fundraising campaigns is of critical interest.
