New Vice President for Sponsorship and Mission Integration appointed

Sister Kathleen Sullivan, RSM, a member of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, has joined Saint Joseph's College as the new Vice President for Sponsorship and Mission Integration. She brings extensive leadership experience, including more than 10 years as vice president of patient services/chief nursing executive for Mercy Hospital in Philadelphia and nine years as the senior vice president for mission at Sisters of Providence Health System in Springfield, Mass. In her positions, Sullivan has supported mission service education programs, provided organizational processes for ethical analysis, and developed and monitored policies in terms of mission and values. She has also been instrumental in applying values to strategic planning, performance improvement, compensation/incentive budgeting, and employee assistance programs. In addition, Sullivan was responsible for a culture of inclusion initiative throughout the Sisters of Providence Health System.

Sullivan holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Gwynedd-Mercy College and a master's degree in health care administration from Eastern University.
