The Portland Sea Dogs, Class AA Eastern League Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are looking to hire several interns for the 2013 baseball season.

The Sea Dogs internship program is designed to prepare college students with an interest in the sports industry for a full-time career within the industry. The Sea Dogs internship program has an exceptional track record of placing interns with jobs within the industry.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Candidates MUST be available for the entire duration of the internship (February through early September).
  • Candidates MUST be available 40 to 80 hours per week. You will be required to make the internship your top priority.
  • MUST be of Junior standing or higher
  • Priority is given to candidates seeking internship for college credit
  • Desire to pursue a career in the sport industry
  • Computer literate (knowledge of Word and Excel are a must)
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Team Player and friendly personality
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi task with little supervision

*Or until intern has to return to school

All interns regardless of what specific area they work in will receive a well-rounded look at the organization. All interns will be expected to cover the front desk, learn the ticket system, assist with on-field promotions, and much more. Interns are treated as an extension of the full-time managerial staff.

SALARY: $ 700.00 per month
