The Feeney Players at Saint Joseph’s College present “Pippin”

The Feeney Players at Saint Joseph's College will be presenting the musical "Pippin" Thursday through Saturday, May 3-5, at 8 p.m., and on Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m., in the Viola George Auditorium at Alfond Hall on campus. The show, composed by Stephen Schwartz, ran for five years on Broadway where it was directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse. Schwartz also composed "Godspell" and "Wicked."

Fran Page, who has acted with The Portland Players, will direct the Saint Joseph's production. Page has helped to develop a partnership of sorts with The Portland Players, in that the community theater group allows the Feeney Players to borrow costuming and set materials. Michael Donovan, a member of the performance team at Anthony's Kitchen in Portland - which does Broadway shows every weekend - will choreograph the show.

The show is free for students. For all others, cost is $10 and $8 for senior citizens. For reservations/tickets, call 893-3030 or 423-7328 or e-mail kcunningham@sjcme.edu.
