Saint Joseph's College appoints new vice presidents

Dr. Randall Krieg of Windham has been named vice president for academic affairs at Saint Joseph's College. He most recently served as the academic dean for arts and sciences at St. Joseph's College New York on its Long Island campus in Patchogue, N.Y. He has also served as the assistant vice president for academic affairs and the director of graduate programs at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D., where he was also an economics professor with expertise in labor economics, ethics and service learning.

Krieg, who began his position on July 1, brings diverse leadership experience to campus. He has a substantial background in institutional assessment, curriculum formulation, accreditation, strategic planning, distance education, study abroad and student academic services. Krieg has also had experience supervising admissions, student services and career counseling. A widely published economist, he holds a master's and doctorate in economics from the University of Colorado and a bachelor's in economics and political science from the University of Wisconsin.

Saint Joseph's College has appointed Reis Hagerman of Scarborough as the new vice president for enrollment management as of July 1. Hagerman, previously a senior education manager with the College Board in its higher education division, worked closely with college admission and financial aid departments throughout the Northeast. Before that, he was the director of the Maine Education Assistance Division for the Finance Authority of Maine, where he was responsible for managing federal and state loan programs, state scholarships distribution and served as a liaison to Maine's colleges and universities. A former associate director of admissions at Saint Joseph's and dean of admissions and financial aid for Westbrook College, Hagerman graduated from Saint Joseph's College in 1979.
