Saint Joseph’s earns recognition for commitment to advancement of long-term care

The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) – a nonprofit professional membership association that’s provided educational programming, professional certification, and career development since its founding in 1962 – has selected Saint Joseph’s College to receive its Champion Award. The award is in recognition of the College’s commitment to the advancement of the professionalism of long-term care.

In their announcement, the ACHCA commended the College for its “support [of] the ACHCA Maine Chapter and the national office through extraordinary participation in annual meetings, education sessions, event hosting, and representation on boards and committees.”

The award will be presented at ACHCA’s 48th Annual Convocation & Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is being held from April 5-9. Phil DuBois, Saint Joseph’s long-term care administration program manager, will be on hand to accept the award.
