Sports camps come to Saint Joseph's

Several sports camps will be taking place on the Saint Joseph’s College campus during the 2014 summer months.

Led by Head Coach Mike McDevitt ’83, the Saint Joseph’s women’s basketball program will host a High School Girls Basketball Team Camp at the Harold Alfond Center, July 11–13.

The Twinight Baseball Camp will take place at Larry Mahaney Baseball Diamond July 27–30. Run by long-time Head Coach Will Sanborn ’86, the Twinight clinic has been taking place for nearly 25 years and features the constant emphasis of proper fundamentals designed to help players achieve success as they move on to higher levels of competition.

The Take Flight Academy All-Sports Camp, which is organized by the Saint Joseph’s men’s basketball program and Head Coach Rob Sanicola ’99, offers two sessions: August 4–8 and August 11–15. The All-Sports Camp is designed to provide children opportunity to experience a wide range of sports. Through games, competitions, and challenges geared to the individual ability levels, campers learn skills for multiple sports, gain self-confidence, and acquire a love of sports to match their talents and interests. Counselors are selected with extreme care. They reflect outstanding teaching ability and the desire to help develop campers into good citizens.
