Town of Gray - Kid’s Club Staff

The Town of Gray Parks and Recreation Department is accepting resumes/applications for the Kid’s Club Staff.

We are seeking staff that can create a positive impact on our community by implementing the mission of Kid’s Club while delivering a quality program.

“Where Structured Activities meet Adventure and Fun”. Kid’s Club is a friendly, safe environment where children are guided in stimulating opportunities that spark creativity, curiosity and success. Structured daily periods of free time, gross motor activities, arts and crafts and enrichment opportunities are designed to increase their self esteem, discover imagination, develop tolerance and patience, widen responsibility and enjoy social time with both peers and staff.

Each morning and afternoon is centered around a “Club” that is designed and chosen with the Kid’s Club Members. Samples include: Game Show Club, Letter Club, Community Service Club, Drama Club, etc.

The Kid’s Club Staff are seasonal positions which follow the MSAD 15 school calendar. The Kid’s Club Staff are responsible for implementing structured activities for the morning and afternoon sessions. Duties include mplementing organized and structured activities, assisting and guiding children with assigned daily activities.

Kid’s Club Program Hours that we are seeking assistance with are Monday-Friday 2:15pm – 5:30pm. This 10-20 hour per week position requires the Kid’s Club Staff to work some, but not all of the program hours with shifts beginning 15 minutes before and up to 15 minutes after each session. The possibility of all day program scheduling and vacation camp week opportunities may be intermittent throughout the school year.
