Award Terms and Conditions

Your aid package is based on the information that we have received and reviewed to date.

Please submit any items listed as "not received" or "not signed" as quickly as you are able so that we may finalize your eligibility.

Your award is based on your major, class level, whether you live on or off campus and your enrollment status.   Your aid is subject to change if any one of these is different than what is listed on your award letter. Please notify us of any corrections needed as quickly as possible.

Please review more information about our Grants including the Saint Joseph's Grant, Family Grant and Minority Grant.  For scholarship and Tuition Waiver information, go to the Scholarship section of our web site.

We will send additional paperwork in May that is needed to process your student loans.

You must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress in order to be considered for financial aid each year.

If you indicated you were interested in work study on your FAFSA and you are eligible for that federal program, you will see Federal Work Study listed on your award letter.  Students who are not eligible may want to consider other positions on campus that are paid through the College payroll. Both types of positions are posted on our "Jobs" page at the start of the year. Please note that we cannot guarantee a position. Your award indicates the upper limit of your earnings if you participate in the program.

If the financial circumstances that we have used to calcuate your eligbility remains relatively the same and your family size and number in college are the same from year to year, your aid package is usually the same. However, some state and federal programs are limited by annually defined EFC cut-offs or can be impacted by state and federal budgets.

Outside scholarships can often help reduce your family's share of the bill. Review our Outside Scholarship Policy or complete a Search for Outside Scholarships
