National SMART Grant
• Up to $4,000 per year for juniors and seniors
• Must be Pell Grant recipient and enrolled full-time
• Must be enrolled in federally approved science or mathematics
major and have earned at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average
• Must be a US citizen
• Generally restricted to Pell Grant recipients matriculated in
traditional programs
• $100 to $4000 by federal definition; budget allows for awards
that range from $100 to $1,000
