With the support of family, friends and colleagues, Saint
Joseph’s College has established a memorial endowment
that will forever perpetuate the legacy of a man that meant so
much to the sports enthusiasts of Maine. The endowment will:
- Establish academic scholarships in the field of
broadcast journalism
- Provide funds for students seeking internships in
sports-related journalism
- Create an annual lecture/speaking event featuring
a premier national sports figure
- Provide stipends to enable middle school and high
school athletes to attend athletic camps
- Enhance the Saint Joseph’s College radio station
in order to help students prepare for broadcast journalism careers
