Currently, seven of Saint Joseph’s 30+ distance learning programs
are offered to soldiers participating in the U.S.Army’s eArmyU
program.
Recommended for health care managers who desire a background in
management theory and application. Provides students with skills
and knowledge in management, accounting, law, and human resources
management.
Designed to serve as a foundation for the Bachelor of Science in
General Studies program. This major is for the student who is interested
in developing the skills and knowledge to teach and/or organize
training programs at the adult or corporate level. This is NOT a
K-12 teacher certification program.
Intended for those long-term care administrators or aspiring administrators
who do not wish to enroll in a bachelor s degree program at this
time. It meets a number of specific needs, including: serving as
a refresher course, meeting state licensure regulations, and meeting
continuing education requirements.
Provides students with a mix of required core courses and electives
in preparation for a variety of positions in the field of health
care administration. Students have flexibility to design an individualized
program of studies in order to meet specific career needs.
Provides students with professional education in the field of long-term
care administration. It offers a wide spectrum of courses in general
management, health care administration and long-term care administration.
Students can select a specialty track from among three prominent
segments of the long-term care industry: nursing homes, assisted
living, and home care.
A degree completion option for individuals in one of the health
professions. Entering students must be licensed or certified and
have a minimum of 30 semester-hour credits or equivalent transfer
credits in their profession to qualify for acceptance. The program
builds on the professional education and training of the individual
and provides opportunity for advanced study in health care administration.
Designed to equip its graduates with the professional competencies
needed to serve effectively as leaders and managers in the field
of health services administration. Students are prepared for leadership
roles in complex organizations that deliver, regulate, or provide
resources for personal health care services.
