Career Services Center
The Career Services Center staff is only a click or phone call away. We
provide:
- Self-assessment – A variety of free assessment tools can help you make
career decisions. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Strong Interest
Inventory, the Abilities Explorer, and the Values Scale can help you
define and better understand your personality preferences, interests,
abilities and work values.
- Job search techniques – Handouts on preparing résumés and cover letters,
interview skills, job search skills and more.
- Résumé writing and critiques – Need help getting started on writing your
résumé, cover letter and/or personal statement? Need an objective and
professional critique of your current résumé?
- Graduate school information – Information is available to help you find
the graduate program right for you. Registration booklets for graduate
school testing such as the GRE, GMAT, MCAT, LSAT, VCAT, MAT and the Praxis.
- Interview preparation – Polish your interview skills by scheduling a "mock
interview." The Career Services director will “interview” you (by phone)
and provide feedback and instruction on how to improve your interview skills.
