| News New Employees to our Saint Joseph's College Community Month of March Distance Nursing Lois Hamel, Ph.D., APRN, BC-Adult Nurse Practitioner joins Saint Joseph's College on March 31, 2008 as the Program Director for Distance Nursing. Lois earned a Ph.D. in Adult Health Education from the University of Maine, Orono; an M.S. in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine, a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from Simmons at Westbrook College/UNE Partnership Program, and she is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care. Most recently Dr. Hamel worked as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Director of Education and Gerontological consultant at SBS, Inc. Housekeeping Paul Blaisdell joins Saint Joseph's College on March 5th as a Housekeeper. Paul most recently was working with Airborne express DHL delivering packages. Dale Williams joins the Facilities Operations staff as a Housekeeper on March 30, 2008. Dale joins us from The Pool Shed, Welcome Dale! Campus Services Milton Smith joins Saint Joseph's College on March 31, 2008 as a Campus Services Assistant. Milton joins us from UNE where he worked in a similar position for 9 years and was a Housekeeping Supervisor for 2 years. Month of April Campus Services Jennifer Stone joins the Campus Services Department as the Campus Services Supervisor on April 14, 2008. Jennifer joins us after working as an Assistant Manager at Lake Street Variety since 2003. Security Terry Schkrioba joined the Security department as a Per Diem Security Officer on April 28, 2008. Terry also works as a Fire Lieutenant for the Portland Fire Department. Timothy Farr joins Saint Joseph's College as a Per Diem Security Officer on April 28, 2008. Tim comes to us from the University of Southern Maine where he was a Patrol Supervisor since 1999. Month of May Institutional Advancement Margaret Gresh joins Saint Joseph's College as the Institutional Advancement Assistant on May 5, 2008. Meg joins us from the Gulf of Maine Council for the Marine Environment where she was an Administrative Assistant. Meg joins us with varied experience from the banking industry to design. Month of June Division of Graduate and Professional Studies Thomas Hancock joins the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies as the Program Director for MS Education on June 2, 2008. Dr. Hancock has been working at Saint Joseph's as an adjunct faculty member since 2002. He earned a Doctor of Education at Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science at New Hampshire College and a Bachelor of Science at Husson College. Welcome to Saint Joseph's College!
