Cable TV

Cable television is available in every residence hall room; however, students must provide their own television and coax cable. The cables can be purchased at a local department store such as Wal-Mart. It is recommended that you get a cable about 10’ long or more, as you may want your television some distance from the cable outlet. The programming schedule can be found at Yahoo! TV Listings. Seventy channels are available including MTV, ESPN, Sci-Fi, and a variety of local channels.

Make sure that you Auto-Program your TV so that it will detect all of the channels that are available. Look for a button on your TV labeled "Auto-Program" and press it once. The TV will begin scanning all of the channels available and store them into the memory of the TV. If your TV loses power for any reason, it will have to be re-programmed.
