School Dude Policies and Procedures
SchoolDude provides an event planning program called FSDirect which allows departments across campus to make room reservations and request services on-line.
General Policies
- All rooms on the Saint Joseph's College campus must be reserved for events or meetings by using the FSDirect program within SchoolDude.
- An FSDirect link is located on the MySJC page of the Saint Joseph's College website. The program can also be accessed by logging on to www.myschoolbuilding.com. The SJC organization number is 413148890.
- A Site Administrator has been assigned to each room and will respond to the request within a reasonable amount of time. If an event hasn't been approved or declined by the end of the day in which the request was made, please contact the site administrator listed in the confirmation e-mail.
Requester Policies
- All requesters must have an account set up in the FSDirect program. Please contact the Office of Special Events at x6617 to set up an account.
- Room requests require 48 hours notice. If the request is less than 48 hours, please contact the site administrator and service provider(s) directly to confirm the reservation and services. A list of Site Administrators and Service Providers is below.
- Please allow two hours before and after an event for set-up and breakdown time when necessary. For formal lunches or dinners, please allow 4 hours before the event for set up.
- All services needed for the event/meeting must be marked. A description is required for all marked services.
- It is the requester's responsibility to follow up with all service providers prior to the event to confirm details. A list of the service providers is below.
Site Administrator Policies
- All room requests must be approved by the end of the day in which the request was received. If a site administrator will be away from the office for an extended period of time, arrangements must be made for another employee to approve or decline room requests.
